THE MARINE AND COASTAL ACCESS ACT 2009 AND THE MARINE WORKS (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT) REGULATIONS 2007 (as amended) APPLICATION FOR A MARINE LICENCE Notice is hereby given that Lafarge Tarmac Marine Ltd (UMA House, Shopwhyke Road, Chichester, PO20 2AD) is applying to the Marine Management Organisation to undertake a regulated activity under Part 4 of the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009. The applications are for two marine licences to dredge marine aggregate from Areas 296 and 494, Anglian region. The applicant proposes to extract a total of 7,500,000 tonnes from Area 296 and a total of 7,500,000 tonnes from Area 494 over a period of 15 years, with a maximum total single year extraction of 1,000,000 tonnes from Area 296 and 1,000,000 tonnes from Area 494. Areas 296 and 494 are located approximately 13km east of Great Yarmouth. Area 296 covers approximately 6.55 km2 of the seabed and Area 494 approximately 7.74 km2 of the seabed. Tender for Re-Thatching and Repair Works at St Margaret's Church, Drayton, Norfolk Expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified conservation contractors to tender for repairs, grant aided by the Heritage Lottery Fund, to this grade 2 listed church. Scope of work includes rethatching nave roof, repairs to rainwater disposal system and drainage. Contractors will be required to complete a prequalification questionnaire from which a short list will be drawn. Contractors must have proven experience to co-ordinate a range of specialists and registered with the Construction Industry Training Board. The tender documents will be issued during September 2014 and the works will commence March 2015.
