South Norfolk Council Disposal of Land Local Government Act 1972 Section 123
Notice is hereby given that South Norfolk Council intends to dispose of the Property as described in the Schedule below ("the Property") which is a parcel of open space.
The proposed disposal is the sale of the freehold of the land to Morley Parish Council.
A plan ("the Plan") showing the Property, may be inspected at the Property Team, Council Offices at South Norfolk House, Swan Lane, Long Stratton, during normal office hours. Any representation or objection to the disposal must be in writing and addressed to Renata Garfoot, Head of Property, South Norfolk Council, South Norfolk House, Long Stratton, Norwich, NR15 2XE (ref: MORL/015/6 to arrive not later than 1200hrs on 05 December 2014).
Land around the Anglian Water Pumping Station, Bucks Lane / Deopham Lane, Morley St Botolph, NR18 9AA and having an area of approx. 0.3ha (0.75 acres)
a) The definition of "disposal" under section 123 of the Local Government Act 1972 is broad and includes the grant of leases and licences as well as freehold disposals.
